Al Sumri Trading & Contracting Establishment, founded in 1984, operates primarily in civil construction and passenger transport services. The company is fully Omani-owned and holds an Excellent Grade classification from the Ministry of Commerce, reflecting its strong capability in passenger commuting as well as business and management consultancy services.

Registered with the Government Tender Board, Al Sumri is qualified to participate in land commuting tenders and has maintained a long-standing registration with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) under category TA4811 for Bus and Commuting Services. It has consistently held a Class 1 ranking—the highest category—since 1996.
